How it works
Step 1
Apply
Tell us about the closet and add a few photos. Takes about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Pack
Use your own boxes, or we mail you flattened boxes, tape and instructions.
Step 3
Ship
We send a prepaid UPS label for every box. Drop it off at any UPS location.
Step 4
Earn
We photograph, list and sell. You get 50% of what sells, after fees.
Choose how you pack
- Use my own boxes. Any sturdy box up to about 20 lbs. We email your UPS labels.
- Send me shipping boxes. We mail flattened boxes, tape, instructions and labels. About $3 per box, taken from earnings.
- Assisted in-home packing · $99. A vetted partner assesses, sorts, packs and labels your clothes, then coordinates UPS pickup. Available in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Shipping and boxes are separate. Request a visit
What we take
- Clothing, shoes and accessories for everyone
- Vintage — fading, distressed graphics and light wear are welcome
- Name brands, denim, band and sports tees, outerwear
We can't take wet, moldy, smoke-damaged, heavily stained or torn items, or underwear.

Shipping is estimated at about $20 per 20 lb box. We charge the actual UPS cost, never more than the maximum you approve. Earnings never go below $0.
Questions
Do I pay anything upfront?
Self-packed cleanouts cost nothing upfront. Shipping and any box kit come out of earnings. Optional assisted packing in South Florida costs $99, paid by card after your appointment is confirmed.
What if my clothes don't sell?
Some items may not sell, and that's okay. If earnings don't cover the shipping, Shedd absorbs the difference — you never owe us money.
What happens to items you can't list?
Items that don't qualify are donated, the same way we handle Shedd Bags.
Can I help my mom or dad do this?
Yes. Choose "a parent or family member" when you apply. We'll need their name and their okay. Earnings go to the account that submits.
How many boxes can I send?
Up to 10 boxes per cleanout, about 20 lbs each.
Where do you ship from?
Anywhere in the continental U.S. Boxes go to our hub in South Florida.
